Senior Director Of People Operations Jobs in California

Responsible Partner closely with the People Operations Manager for leading the design, annual planning, deployment, and execution of benefit program initiatives.

Help design, review, and administer incentive/bonus/merit/equity programs robust performance management program that incorporates company values and behaviors.

Review existing HR policies and procedures and update to be in line with legislative and audit requirements.

Experience managing multiple People functions, balancing compliance and business needs and juggling short-term requests with long-term priorities and goals

Performance Management: Develop the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.

Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a Director or Senior Director of HR.

HR Policies and Procedures: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures across the business value chain.

oOversee HR administrative functions, including employee record-keeping, payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.

oCollaborate with senior leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement change management.

oStay informed about emerging trends and best practices in HR management and make recommendations for improvement.

·Five (5) or more years of relevant executive management/leadership in a multi-unit environment.

oMaintain HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements. Recommend new policies as appropriate.

oCreate and manage on-boarding programs to facilitate smooth integration of new employees.

Lead and project manage various initiatives including ongoing global integration, new location set-up, global PEO.

Manage immigration cases and liaising with key stakeholders (immigration counsel, People team (Talent Partners), employees, and hiring managers).

Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal, and other stakeholders to drive efficiencies and simplify workflows.

Manage, coach and develop members of the People Operations team

You have 10+ years of relevant experience in HR/People Operations in high-growth technology (or entertainment industry) environments, preferably with global experience

You have been a successful team lead and manager for 3+ years, scaling and adjusting teams

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and emerging trends affecting operations.

Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing operations, preferably within a similar industry or organization.

Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and process improvements.

Leading and coaching high-performing Operations, PMO, Business System Management, Data Science COE, and Communications team.

Overseeing and implementing organizational risk management processes.

Reviewing processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement, change management.

15+ years of work experience including 5+ years in a Director-level role and demonstrated supervisory and leadership capacity.

Director level experience at a large (>1000 person) organization

Mission-driven and aligned experience (related to clean tech/climate tech/utility)

You have 8+ years experience in human resources leadership working across a diverse portfolio of companies and industries

You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, using and administering Workday as your HRIS

You have hands-on experience leading People administrative processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee data

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

You have a Master's degree in Human Resources / Business Administration, or commensurate experience

You will drive continuous improvement to our People processes, systems and workflows ensuring the best in class, people-first experience

Must have supply chain management experience

Responsible for providing management oversight to Supply Chain Management, Material Planning/Control and Manufacturing

Responsible for managing day to day business of operations department to drive on-time deliveries, vendor management and predictable production flow.

Must have supply chain management experienc

MUST have a degree in Engineering

MUST be eligible for TS/SCI security clearance
