Work with management and project management offices to develop and maintain project objectives and plans

Bring projects to completion, on time and within budget using the System Design Life Cycle and the established Project Management methodologies

REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience

Plan, manage, and provide project status following the adopted agency’s Software Development Life-Cycle (SDL) from inception to implementation

Perform unit and integration testing to ensure business requirements are met and programming logic executes as expected

Knowledge and experience with different types of database structures, joins and data blending techniques.

Drive data quality across the business with advanced/expert experience in data engineering and data warehousing.

Maintains knowledge and familiarity with current and emerging technologies, best practices, business processes, industry trends, and information security considerations.

Relevant work experience may serve as a substitute for Bachelor's degree

3-5+ Years’ experience in ETL and Data wrangling.

Mathematical problem solving, statistical, and analytical skills are required.

Experience as a Power BI Developer

Extensive knowledge and expertise in business intelligence, databases, and especially, technical aspects of BI tools (Microsoft Power BI prreferred)

Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Understanding business requirements in the BI context and designing data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.

Ability to work in a team.

Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Management Studio.

Strong understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL frameworks.

Bachelor’s or higher Degree in related field, or equivalent experience.

Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards.

Experience analyzing requirements, deriving work estimates, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Experience with SQL Server Integration (SSIS) and Reporting (SSRS) Services

Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.

Experience troubleshooting database integrity, performance, blocking/deadlocking, connectivity, indexes and data replication issues.

Experience collaborating on database design and performance tuning.

Collaborate with your team members to promote best practices, data knowledge, and workload management.

Administer our reporting environments to solve tasks like user permissions, creating new projects, data refresh, management, and application upgrades.

Design, build and deploy BI solutions

Iterate with the business users to collaboratively build prototypes to nail down the final desired solution.

Perform advanced data analysis using reporting tools like Tableau

Setup Tableau Server in various environments like DEV, TEST, PROD

Manage the escalation and resolution of issues

Functional and or technical certifications as deemed appropriate for specialization

Data Science or Data Analysis related coursework or experience required

Must have 2 years experience in a post-graduation, full-time position. Experience can be from any field.

Applicable government or business consulting experience preferred

1 year of programming experience (Python, SQL, R or similar) preferred

Responds to special assignments and projects as directed by the Reporting Project Manager.

1 year Related experience to include reporting systems/report creation/maintenance/SQL tuning and data extraction/database concepts and query tools/ EPIC Reporting Applications (Required)

EPIC Certifications (Relevant) within 120 Days (Required)

EPIC Certification(s) in Cogito applications within 1 Year (Preferred)

Experience with SQL servers and knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse concepts

General knowledge and experience using technical database softwares

Detail oriented and strong analytical and evaluative skills

Able to prioritize, organize, structure, and manage multiple projects/tasks

SSIS (Sequel Server Integration Services) experience

5+ years of related experience to reflect skills and talent necessary for this role preferred

Base Pay of ($59,000-108,000) based on qualifications/experience

Proficient knowledge of advanced analysis solutions/tools (such as OLTP/OLAP data structures, advanced Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI, Business Objects)

Proficient knowledge of domain languages (such as SQL Query, HIVEQL, etc.)

May require advanced sales motion knowledge (such as new sales, renewals, customer success)

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma, or the equivalent, preferred. Degree/Diploma in computer science, finance or statistics/mathematics a plus
