ASSISTANT CASE MANAGER (“CASE AIDE”)

Demonstrates the willingness to work at any ARS facility based on staffing needs

Preparation of consumer meals according to consumer’s individualized dietary orders, posted menus and responsible for stocking of food and household items

Provide for the management and care coordination of the residents needs

Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or related field plus a minimum of three years of experience -OR-

Master's degree in counseling or related field and one year of related experience

Ensure the efficient running of the day to day program under the leadership of the Program Director

Provide for the safety and security of child/adolescents within the residential setting by promoting a healthy, clean and supportive environment.

Render personal care services and provides transportation to school and doctor's appointments.

Good communication skills both verbally and written including the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

All new hires must have their S-95 certification or obtain this license within 90 days of their first day of employment.

High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of work experience

Excellent internal, external customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills

Willingness to work at multiple sites as needed, work occasional overtime and offer flexibility with regard to scheduling work time.

The Residential Aide (RA) ensures the safety, security and order for the daily operations of the residence during his/her shifts.

Minimum of high school education with proof of diploma/certificate.

Must be able to perform physical requirements of position and participate in pre-employment physical examination. Negative Tuberculosis test required.

Experience working in the human services or related field is desirable, but not mandatory

Sign Language skills sought, but not required at HL and Cadillac sites

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must have a working telephone throughout employment.

Minimum six (6) months experience providing direct care to behavioral health populations preferred

Current “Healthcare Provider”, AHA logo CPR and Food handler’s cards will be required within 30-days of hire

Obtain Agency Affiliated Registration upon hire

Current Washington state driver’s license

Collaborates with specialists in the development of client case records, management plans, court preparation documents, and educational material.

Coordinates, schedules, and facilitates case management meetings with clients, investigators, specialists, and other staff.

Conducts extensive client background research under short time constraints to ensure accurate and timely completion of case management initiatives.

Ability to prioritize time and responsibilities without constant direction.

As applicable, uses bilingual skills to perform job tasks by translating verbal statements/information or written documentation.

Knowledge of clinical and residential mandates and services.

Other duties may be assigned by management as needed to ensure the successful operation of the program.

ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

First Aid/CPR Certification- and Food Handler’s Certification required or needs to be obtained in first 60 days of employment.

F-02 or F80 Fire Safety Coordinator certification, required (or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of employment)

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English required. Multi-lingual and Spanish proficiency prioritized.

Maintains visibility to residents by wearing Safety Monitor vest and ID badge and inspects site through regular tours of the property.

Assists consumers with personal care issues (bathing, toileting, and other personal hygiene issues), medication use, chores, and safety issues

Demonstrates the willingness to work at any ARS facility based on staffing needs

Preparation of consumer meals according to consumer’s individualized dietary orders, posted menus and responsible for stocking of food and household items

Reporting and documentation of incidents, crisis intervention, communicating with On-call management team

Use company vehicle to transport residents to and from appointments in the community and as directed by program management

Experience CPR and First Aid certifications a plus

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required or equivalent experience

Two to four years related experience

Monitoring of residents; making hourly rounds with security wand, and maintaining a safe, stable housing environment
