Residential Case Aide Jobs in Michigan

Attend training to increase knowledge and skills

Knowledge and experience with family dynamics, domestic violence, and sexual assault issues preferred

Provide advocacy and education as related to the service plan

Minimum bachelor’s degree in social work or associated field, with some related work experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in residential services preferred

Coordinate with Case Manager on all pre-arrival case activities, including housing arrangements and communications with US Ties and co-sponsors.

Complete applications for Social Security card, public benefits and other applicable registrations within the required time periods.

One year experience in refugee related casework and community services preferred.

Ability to identify needs and problems, and communicate them to case managers for follow up.

Basic knowledge of or ability to learn to utilize various computer programs including Excel spreadsheet and graphic programs.
