This position is 100% remote. The office is located in Baltimore, MD.

Exhibit the ability to learn efficient SAS programming skills.

Knowledge of statistical programming in at least one software language.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as an integral part of HSAG Data Science & Advanced Analytics division.

Perform case conferences, summary reports, and incident management in compliance with applicable state and program regulatory and/or accreditation requirements

Solid understanding and experience in care planning/case management is required

Manage a caseload and leverage technology to enable effective coaching and information referral

4-6 years’ experience in health coaching and/or experience in health care/wellness

Comprehensive knowledge of industry concepts and principles; Ability to provide coaching support and consultation across a broad range of clinical topics

Exceptional active listening and communication skills with a focus on empathy

Must have critical thinking skills and maintain confidentiality.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of medical terminology and/or behavioral health topics.

Strong decision making and prioritization skills.

Strong patient engagement, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to establish a therapeutic relationship with the patient.

BA/BS/BSW in health related field with one year of experience working in community health.

Responsible for meeting call handling requirements and daily telephone standards as set forth by management.

Comprehensively assembles and enters patient information into the appropriate delivery system to initiate the EAP, Care and Utilization management programs.

Refers patients/EAP clients to the Magellan's Care Management team for a provider, EAP affiliate, or Facility.

Researches and articulately communicates information regarding member eligibility, benefits, EAP services, claim status, and authorization inquiries to callers while maintaining confidentiality.

Must be a proficient typist (avg. 35+ WPM) with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Actively listens and probes callers in a professionally and timely manner to determine purpose of the calls.

Managed care experience preferred. Medical terminology, ICD, CPT and/or coding experience preferred.

Minimum of 2 years previous work experience, preferably in a health care setting.

Strongly prefer medical assistant, home health aide, nursing assistant or other similar health care para-professional training or certification.

Prior member service or customer service telephone experience desired.

Prior behavioral health experience a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to write clear and concise reports.

Product support topics include website navigation, mobile device support, telecommunication connectivity, information, set-up, and approved troubleshooting for Abbott-proprietary remote care products.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Minimum three (3) years of current/recent PBM and/or current/recent pharmacy experience required

Provide real-time support to pharmacies with point-of-service inquiries

Educate prescribers on formulary and prior authorization processes

Enter customer data and other relevant information into our documentation tool

While this job is performed remotely, applicants should reside in the San Diego metropolitan area to best serve the assigned territory.

Minimum five years equivalent industry experience preferred (within sales, installation, or a technical discipline).

Product-appropriate advanced level technical expertise and certifications preferred.

Fluency in other languages commonly spoken within the region preferred. Knowledge of regional business and cultural practices preferred.

Executes customer training programs, trade shows, promotional events, and maintains Hunter CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) in assigned territory.
