Registered Behavior Technician – Aba Therapist Jobs

Work part-time hours Monday through Friday between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To):

This position provides a variety of services to students in a classroom and school-based environment

Create teaching materials that align with academic, social-language and behavioral programming.

Assist in functional assessments and analysis and deliver behavior programming to individuals using the methodology of ABA.

Maintain a program book and summarize and visually represent academic and behavioral programming weekly.

Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certificate, or willingness to enroll and complete RBT certification

Conduct sessions with patients using standard procedures under the direction of a professional behavior analyst

Maintaining and updating assessment and treatment graphs to be presented at supervision meetings

Report the behavior and environment in observable and measurable terms to a professional behavior analyst and provide goal updates

Communicate progress and updates on a daily basis to your case BCBA/BCBA-D

Collect and record data on intervention programs such as client’s self-help skills, communication skills, social skills, and/or targeted behavior goals

Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field, preferred

Registered Behavior Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

Prior professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting is preferred

Engage in frequent communication with supervising BCBAs to ensure monthly supervision requirements are met for RBT credential maintenance.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field

Demonstrate professionalism with colleagues, supervisors, and families; including, but not limited to, dress code, timeliness, and communication (oral and written).

Demonstrate above-average competency in Rethink functionality to read and understand multiple styles of client programming and behavior plans.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, as schedules, supervising BCBAs, and client profiles will frequently change.

At least 6 months of employment with Key Autism Services, including excellent performance reviews and treatment integrity scores

Salary: $18 - $22 an hour

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Completion of 40-hour RBT training requirement and certification within 4 months of employment.

Education and/or years’ experience required:

Knowledge of Windows, Intranet, Internet and Telehealth technology.

Must have effective skills in organization and communication – both written and oral.

RBT experience with training in the principles and techniques of Applied Behavioral Analysis, including understanding behavioral plans and behavior analytical services.

Required to have a high school diploma

Complete required training modules related to recertification and organizational requirements

Manage own schedule and caseload with consultation with BCBA Supervisor

Current CPR certification required and First Aid certifications suggested

Current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures

General working knowledge required for electronic treatment records

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications and Requirements for selected candidates include:

-Some experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

-Provide ABA instruction using individualized and group curriculum created by the Clinic Manager.
