Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt) And Behavioral Technician (Bt)

TLC currently serves over 700 children and adults and 1,800+ of their family members – parents, siblings, and family caregivers. By 2040, our community will have an estimated 38% increase in people living with an intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD).

Minimum Education/ Experience:

A high school diploma or national equivalent from an appropriately accredited institution (GED) is required; a college degree is preferred. Preferred experience in Autism Services, Education, Child Development, Psychology, and/or Applied Behavior Analysis. Proven work experience with individuals who have a diagnosis of autism and/or are behaviorally challenged. Family work is required. Behavioral Technicians (BT) have the opportunity to become nationally certified as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). TLC will support eligible candidates to obtain their 40 hours of coursework and will coach the individuals to pass the exam. RBT is not required but preferred.

Benefits: $500 Joining Bonus paid on the first payroll

Pay Rate: Up to $25 hr. - Depending on experience

Non-billable rates are paid at a lower rate -Pay is based on experience

Brief Description of Work Performed:

• TLC will pay to obtain RBT credentials.

Clinic hours are 9 AM-5 PM. No driving all over the state!

• Focus on play-based and early intervention.

• TLC is a Non-profit so you can apply for Public Service Loan Forgiveness

• Free BCBA supervision if obtaining hours toward certification
