-Provide ABA instruction using individualized and group curriculum created by the Clinic Manager.

The successful candidate will provide the following services to a child in the clinic:

-Participate in daily communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and behavior.

Assist with client assessment (e.g., curriculum-based, developmental, social skills, assist with functional assessment procedures, observational recording of behavior and environment)

Effectively responds to and manages crisis situations which may include physical aggression

Direct implementation of the Treatment Plans by the BCBA

Provide in-home and/or out in the community ABA therapy for clients with Autism

Implement a variety of teaching procedures (e.g., discrete trail, naturalistic teaching, stimulus control, stimulus fading, discrimination training, use of contingency reinforcement)

Prepare data collection, implement measurement and recording procedures, and maintain data

Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Required

Valid Ohio Department of Education Credential

Experience providing ABA programming with students/clients

Assists in teaching students self-regulation skills, life skills, social skills, coping skills, and other skills as needed

Using prompt hierarchy to support students in their educational and behavioral needs

Thirty-six hours of college credit required or ability to obtain substitute certification through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)

Substitute Certification or eligible for Substitute Certification through Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education required

Range $24.00/hr to $35.00/hr based on experience and education.

Implements procedures for behavior reduction and skill acquisition procedures for ABA services and supports with fidelity

Implements and documents delivery of ABA service minutes in the Individual Education Plan (IEP)

Observes, records, and follows the behavior intervention plan (BIP) in the student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP)

Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving

Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Credential or willingness to obtain certification after job offer & prior to start date

Teaching skills that allow the individual to communicate and/or function more effectively

The implementation of behavioral procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors

Enroll and complete training courses within the first 30 days of job offer

Experience with applied settings with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disability

Starting hourly wage will be commensurate with experience, dedication and pursuit of advanced training and educational background.

Therapists are thoughtfully assigned to clients based on skills and personality.

Therapist schedules are developed based on therapist/client availability and the distance of clients from the therapist's home.

Summer Employment, Internships and BCBA/BCaBA supervision will be considered.
