So, what are you waiting for?


Backed by the support and supervision of our awesome staff, you would:


  • Become eligible to earn your registered behavior technician (RBT/BCAT) certification.
  • Gain training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, counseling, mental health, and parenting.
  • Create lasting, positive change for children and their families.
  • This position will be providing services in Northern San Diego Area: Vista, Oceanside, San Marcos and surrounding areas
  • Work with kids (18 months to school age) with autism and special needs in their homes or in one of our centers.


If you work full-time, you can earn up to 15 days of paid time off (PTO) after 90 days of employment. If you work part-time, you’re eligible for sick leave.


Pay starting at $20 and up for experience! New hires hired at the entry level rate of $20, after successfully completing 250 hours in the field, will receive a $1.00 per hour raise and a promotion to Behavior Technician II. Raise, incentive, and promotion will be effective the pay period after 250 hours are completed. This can take place in as little as 10 weeks!


Do you have what it takes? Although we don’t require specific experience, we do look for certain characteristics, including:


  • Strong curiosity and a desire (or, at least, a willingness) to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
  • The ability to master the latest TikTok dance craze. (Just kidding.)
  • A genuine desire to help children with autism and their families achieve goals.
  • A steady supply of compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, goodwill, and reliability.


Oh, And We Actually Require


  • Some areas require some college which can include AP courses, ROP courses, Dual Enrollment, Technical School, Training school, etc.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 (on or before the first day of employment).
  • Have experience working with children, whether as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or some other form of childcare.
  • Not to mention, it is a plus if you:
  • Are bi-lingual, with English/Spanish fluency.
  • Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule: morning, afternoon, and/or evenings.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License
  • Studied, majored, or minored in psychology, education, special education, child care, behavioral health, health science, or a related field.
  • The ability to pass a background check.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.


Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following: push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
