Packaging Production Designer Jobs

Proven knowledge of Page Layout Design

Editorial, layout production, and social media graphics experience

Collaborate on text arrangement with established designs, following grids, hierarchy, and brand guidelines for web and print.

Assist in devising innovative design solutions.

Create final layouts for print, web, and social media platforms.

Maintain design quality and adhere to brand guidelines.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure designs align with product requirements.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Proven experience as a packaging designer, preferably in a commercial or consumer goods industry.

Knowledge of branding principles and ability to create designs that reflect brand identity.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

5-7+ yrs of experience in packaging design – home experience a preferred!

Organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills

Ensure packaging aligns with brand identity

Maintain digital and physical samples

Communicate overseas to ensure delivery and approval of packaging

Competitive shopping and trend forecasting

Intentional design aesthetic and strong typographic skills

Experience creating marketing assets (in-house preferred)

Experience with Figma and animation a plus

Design creative and engaging marketing stories across brand channels: site, email, social, paid media, etc.

Work with creative teammates and cross-functional partners to bring campaigns to life

Maintain the brand aesthetic across the assets they touch

1-2 years of Production Design experience

Experience working with and contributing to design systems, guidelines, and other best practices

Hands on experience with Adobe

Expert skills in modern design programs like Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite

1-2 years of experience working in Ecommerce

You have knowledge of the online video streaming space

Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to understand product specifications and packaging requirements.

Collaborate with textile designers to create artwork and graphics that effectively communicate product features, benefits, and brand messaging on packaging materials.

Proven experience as a Packaging Designer, preferably 3-6 years in the home textiles industry or related field.

Excellent visual and conceptual design skills with a keen eye for detail.

Knowledge of current design trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics in the home textiles industry.

At least 5 years of experience in an agency or creative in-house

Must have Alcohol Beverage Packaging experience

Must have experience designing packaging for wine, spirits, and RTD beverages

Adobe Creative Suite Programs specifically Illustrator and Photoshop

Ability to understand master brands and design packaging extensions and sub-brands

Create outstanding original packaging design concepts for wine, beer & spirits

Must have strong, creative problem-solving skills as well as strong interpersonal, communication & project management skills.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, merchandising, & product management to create outstanding copy & graphics.

Create packing instructions for the factories & communicate requirements as needed.

Advanced experience creating dielines with measurements, quality, etc. for factory use

Graphic Design & Package Design experience including creating prototypes.

Have a thorough knowledge of the technical design of the product (specs, layout, construction)

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

Knowledge of various packaging and material handling systems

Experience with 3D point Cloud data is a plus

Outlook & Excel Skills are required

Experience working with multiple languages and creating assets for multiple regions is a plus.

Excellent knowledge of digital file management and server navigation.

Knowledge of offset and digital printing processes and file requirements desired.

2+ years of experience working in food packaging

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.

Strong ability to multi-task, organize, and problem-solve while keeping a calm demeanor under tight deadlines.
