Job Description

Summary:MS International is seeking a highly creative and talented Commercial Packaging Designer to join our dynamic team. As the Commercial Packaging Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and visually appealing packaging designs that align with our brand image and effectively market our products. Your designs will play a pivotal role in enhancing our product packaging, ensuring it stands out in the market and captivates our customers.


To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:


  • Create 2D and 3D mock-ups and prototypes to present design ideas to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure designs align with product requirements.
  • Prepare final artwork files for production and ensure accuracy in color, dimensions, and printing techniques.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to stay updated on industry packaging design best practices.
  • Develop creative packaging concepts and designs that meet product specifications and branding guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.


Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:


  • Knowledge of branding principles and ability to create designs that reflect brand identity.
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and production techniques.
  • Proven experience as a packaging designer, preferably in a commercial or consumer goods industry.
  • Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and ability to think critically.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, packaging design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketchup).



This role has the following physical demands:


  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.

Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000. Estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges between $55,000 and $60,000 or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses.
