Position: Strategic Sourcing Supply Chain Manager

This role is a leadership role and will manage + train other supply chain professionals.

Commodity strategy Development and implementation

Researches and develops sources of supply for product specific commodities. Drive product specific commodity activities/initiatives and assure implementation.

Ensures effective price/terms negotiation, selection and/or recommendation of suppliers, trend analysis, order follow up, and delivery verification.

Reviews proposals for price, delivery time and quality in order to select suppliers.

Knowledgeable in the sourcing process - able to leverage experience and knowledge from previous projects

Create and manage the sourcing strategy for each project (RFI/RFP)

Performs other relevant job duties as required

3-5 years’ experience in similar positions

Category level knowledge in multiple indirect spend areas
