Sourcing Mgr-Strategic Sourcing- Remote

Purpose:

Sources and negotiates products and services for the enterprise with the goal of reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and increasing total value to the business. Lead the sourcing process from start to finish, beginning with identifying the opportunity through final contracting. Partners with leadership team on cost improvement strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Strategic Sourcing processes, procedures, and policies
• Develop a strong working relationship with assigned stakeholders to create a pipeline of sourcing projects
• Work with the Analytics team to evaluate all proposals utilizing the Total Cost of Ownership methodology
• Lead a cross functional team through the sourcing process, made up of stakeholders, finance, legal, procurement, security, privacy, and others as needed
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure their goals are met through the sourcing process
• Create and manage the sourcing strategy for each project (RFI/RFP)
• Performs other relevant job duties as required
• Develop the negotiation strategy and lead the negotiation process for each project

Job Requirements:

Education/ Experience/ combination of education training and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) a plus
• 3-5 years’ experience in similar positions

Knowledge:

• Category level knowledge in multiple indirect spend areas
• Thorough understanding of Total Cost of Ownership analytics and drivers
• Knowledgeable in the sourcing process - able to leverage experience and knowledge from previous projects
• Negotiation strategy development skills
• Demonstrated ability in negotiating complex agreements

General Level of Work:

• Works with minimal direct supervision, able to plan workload to efficiently deliver required results
• Able to independently manage projects and tasks
• Holds others accountable for their deliverables
• Interaction with Senior Leadership, comfortable presenting to the C-Suite as part of a team

Impact of Decisions:

• Most projects are over $10M in annual spend, and can exceed $50M in total value
• Responsible for medium to large projects that significantly impact the organization

Knowledge of Business:

• Possess an understanding of budgeting, planning, and forecasting for expense and capital spend
• Exhibits business acumen and understanding of the Company's operations
• Understands how the department operates and how role creates value within the company, and can articulate it to all levels of the organization

Compensation

• Pay Range: $80000.00 - $149500.00 Annually ($38.46 - $71.88 Hourly)
• Other Compensation: Bonus Eligible
