Strong negotiation, writing, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of historic preservation planning, landscape architecture planning & design, and affordable housing development is a plus.

Proven leadership experience at the local level professionally or as a volunteer.

Provide skillful project management internally and externally.

Minimum 10 years’ experience working in teacher education, preferably in a cultural institution context.

Deep knowledge of the American education system, including social studies curriculum and instruction

Deep knowledge of museum education pedagogy, including object-based inquiry
