Terrific Manager of Sponsored Projects position with a large foundation committed to strengthening the communities of South Florida and furthering philanthropic initiatives across the country. The foundation serves as the intermediary for grantors and grantees and manages the full lifecycle of charitable projects of all sizes. The Manager of Sponsored Projects will be an important member of the Grants Administration team and oversee a portfolio of projects. This is a highly visible role that will interface with grantors, grantees, and other internal and external stakeholders. Specific responsibilities will include working with grantors to ensure proper administration of funds for projects, grant reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and ensuring grantees are effectively supported. Candidates should have approximately 7+ years of related experience, along with a passion for the social service sector. Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask are essential for this role. This position currently operates on a hybrid schedule. The salary for this position is $75,000, with potential flexibility based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrally involved in the full lifecycle of the grant-making process, including RFP design, application review, grantee awards, and stewardship
• Provide expertise on IRS rules and regulations for foundations and funds
• Utilize project management tools to monitor progress
• Work closely with grantors and grantees to ensure timely and effective reporting and responses to various requests
• Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues to ensure effective management of a portfolio of projects
• Serve as a liaison between the foundation and external partners, including grantors and grantees of sponsored projects
• Support business development efforts for the sponsored projects portfolio

Qualifications

• Approximately 7+ of years relevant experience, on either the grantor or grantee side
• Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be customer service oriented
• Knowledge of IRS regulations for nonprofits and foundations preferred
• Stellar donor communications and customer service skills, and the desire to interface with various stakeholders
• Passionate about making an impact in the social sector
