Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages multiple priorities and/or projects and tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing and complex environment and
- Creates written communication and presentation materials, and presents data and information to all levels of the
- Maintains a working knowledge of PI methodologies to drive performance and process improvement work across CedarsSinai.
- Interfaces with Cedars-Sinai leadership to mitigate barriers and achieve goals relative to performance improvement.
- Provides guidance and support to the performance improvement staff in establishing measurement systems, data
- Collaborates with Leadership (i.e. Executive, Performance Improvement) to creates programmatic infrastructure for staff
- Encourages and engages collaborative teamwork and problem solving. Effectively communicates, manages, and resolves
- Provides oversight, data and project management infrastructure, and counsel to executive leadership in decision-making
- Develops and implements an annual quality, safety, and efficiency goal planning process for all clinical departments.
- Maintains working knowledge of performance improvement-related accreditation requirements and regulatory conditions
maintaining and assuring the quality of data and information necessary for performance improvement processes.
- Executes Special Projects as assigned
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Quality, Business Administration, Clinical Field or similarly applicable degree.
Master's Degree Quality, Business Administration, Clinical Field or similarly applicable degree
Licenses:
No license or certification required
Experience:
5 years Progressive Operational Leadership or Consultative experience in either a hospital or Health System setting.
1 year Management experience of individual contributors and/or supervisors.
Physical Demands:
Sit at a desk or table with some walking, standing, bending, stooping, or carrying of light objects.
Perform continuous operation of a personal computer for four hours or more.
Use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects and/or operate equipment.
