Experience clearing library music and sound design, preferred if there’s experience working with major labels and publishers.

Experience reading and filling out cue sheets.

Researching music ownership and seeking/obtaining quotes from music libraries.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners and third-party companies, labels, artists, studios, and publishers.

Managing Netflix marcomms music clearance and rights information including tracking territory, media and terms and maintaining/tracking all cue sheets.

Helping source music and contribute music ideas for given creative briefs, as required.

Three or more years of experience at a law firm or in-house

Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail

CIPP certification is a plus

18+ years of legal experience, preferably with some nonprofit business experience

Strong writing, editing, verbal and non-verbal communications skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience: 5+ years of experience working in a law firm or the legal field and/or providing high-level executive support

Knowledge of online legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.

Financial and Operational Strategy & Management

Strong analytical skills and experience translating a strategic vision into an operational model

Manage cash flow and forecasting. Optimize banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.

Support, provide financial guidance to, and collaborate with all LSNYC program offices, including borough-based leadership, boards, and employees with financial responsibilities.

Deep understanding of and experience with non-profit audits and financial inspections

Experience with unionized environments and/or law firms is a plus

Bachelor’s degree required or relevant management experience

Minimum 2 years’ management experience with heavy profit and loss responsibility

Provide management direction to ensure our accounts are receiving quality service while operating efficiently and profitably

Host recurring Site Manager meetings to train, educate and inform the on-site management team

Manage and oversee all assigned locations, personnel, and equipment for a client with multiple locations nationally

Oversee the Site Managers and potentially other employees at multiple site locations

Three years experience in preparing and maintaining legal documents and case files.

Three years experience in legal research which includes researching statutes, regulations, case law and background information via computer or library searches.

Three years experience in drafting legal documents which includes presenting facts, setting out and analyzing legal precedents.

Six months experience in developing policies and procedures.

Six months experience in staff supervision which includes planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of others.

Establishes and maintains case files.

Provides analysis, answers, or recommendations regarding legal, liability and/or risk-management issues.

Participates and assists in the rulemaking process of various programs managed by the agency.

Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision and may supervise and/or direct the work of others.

Knowledge of the justice system to include administrative courts
