Key Responsibilities of this Role:

Provides legal advice to, and collaborate with internal teams, on diverse matters affecting day-to-day business operations of ESPRIT

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

5+ years of experience in legal and compliance functions related to information security and contract compliance.

Experience in drafting and negotiating software license agreements, service level agreements, and vendor contracts.

Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to information security.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams

Lead the strategy, execution and implementation of finance specific programs, projects and/or exercises

Support and contribute to the overall Finance organization Transformation agenda

Manage the relationships, book of work and expectations with the Mumbai and Costa Rica teams

Experience supporting functional disciplines a plus

Exceptional analytical skills, combined with an ability to deliver analysis in a concise manner

18+ years of legal experience, preferably with some nonprofit business experience

Experience working with external auditors, creating or revising internal controls, and resolving compliance-related issues

Experience collaborating with and managing external counsel

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other finance or fundraising tracking software

Ability to be patient and sensitive toward individuals with disabilities

Financial and Operational Strategy & Management

Strong analytical skills and experience translating a strategic vision into an operational model

Manage cash flow and forecasting. Optimize banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.

Support, provide financial guidance to, and collaborate with all LSNYC program offices, including borough-based leadership, boards, and employees with financial responsibilities.

Deep understanding of and experience with non-profit audits and financial inspections

Experience with unionized environments and/or law firms is a plus
