Relevant experience in real estate finance and loan servicing preferred.

Insurance Coordinator reports directly to the Insurance Operations Manager. Responsibilities include:

Undergraduate business degree or equivalent in experience.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.

Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) programs.

1+ years of experience in insurance or Ag related field.

General knowledge of crop insurance programs and information preferred.

Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on carrier products, guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes in order to make effective recommendations to clients.

Manage, submit, and follow-up with claims throughout the claims process.

Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.

Basic math skills and aptitude for learning new technology

Outstanding organizational and project management skills

Experience in a processing role preferably within a tax department

Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred: Experience with Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite: UltraTax CS and Advance Flow

Outstanding written & verbal communications Knowledge of insurance - benefits verification, claims processing & tracking.

High school diploma or GED. Certification in office administration or previous dental experience is advantageous.

Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer and employee information and ensure job duties are aligned with compliance/regulatory requirements

Validate data obtained from the customer, Loan Originator, and all third-party sources

Order and upload required loan documents based on loan type and program

Order condo documents, title documents, evidence of insurance and other necessary third party documents/verifications needed for loan approval

Bachelors degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area OR

Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 4 or more years experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area OR

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area AND

Knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory environment

Knowledge and understanding of the Crop Insurance program and underwriting/claims processing policies and procedures

Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skill in a high-volume, production environment
