Job Description
The Insurance Coordinator is an integral member of a team of loan servicing professionals responsible for the monitoring and management of incoming and outgoing documentation, system management, as well as the confirmation of reporting and data integrity.
The person filling this position will work directly with the Insurance Operations Manager, Insurance Analysts, Asset Managers, Escrow Managers, Closers, Borrowers, and Agents all with the intent on providing and maintaining the integrity of the insurance coverage for the BWE loan portfolio.
Areas of Responsibility:
  • Manage the integrity of the data that is provided internally as well as to and from Agents and Borrowers including ACORDS, Declarations, Endorsements, and Policies;
  • The retrieval of renewal documents as evidence of coverage.
  • Partner effectively with the Asset Managers, Closers, Insurance Analysts, and Escrow Managers to help maintain the integrity of the insurance coverage for the portfolio.
  • Provide internal insurance guidance and support internally.
  • Assist with Lender and Internal Compliance Audits;
  • Work directly with the Insurance Operations Manager and Insurance Analysts to manage, but not limited to the following;
    • Insure that information is added and updated into the various internal systems accurately and efficiently;
    • The retrieval of renewal documents as evidence of coverage.
    • Manage the integrity of the data that is provided internally as well as to and from Agents and Borrowers including ACORDS, Declarations, Endorsements, and Policies;
    • Assist with Lender and Internal Compliance Audits;
    • Document Management;
  • Insurance Coordinator reports directly to the Insurance Operations Manager. Responsibilities include:
    • Work directly with the Insurance Operations Manager and Insurance Analysts to manage, but not limited to the following;
      • Insure that information is added and updated into the various internal systems accurately and efficiently;
      • The retrieval of renewal documents as evidence of coverage.
      • Manage the integrity of the data that is provided internally as well as to and from Agents and Borrowers including ACORDS, Declarations, Endorsements, and Policies;
      • Assist with Lender and Internal Compliance Audits;
      • Document Management;
  • Promote and participate in an established team atmosphere.
  • Insure that information is added and updated into the various internal systems accurately and efficiently;

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate business degree or equivalent in experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, coordinate and communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
  • Experience with insurance for commercial real estate.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Relevant experience in real estate finance and loan servicing preferred.
