Rcis Regional Insurance Processing Manager

Zurich RCIS is currently hiring a Regional Processing Manager to join the Underwriting Support & Services team in Winston-Salem!

This Manager will lead, motivate and develop a team of 8-10 Crop Insurance Underwriting Associates and will support our experienced Field Services and Sales teams and work closely with Agents and customers in the growing Crop industry.

Our Processing Managers are charged with a variety of tasks including:

• Provide training and support in internal training meetings
• Working with the other Regional Offices to provide consistency in handling submissions and processing policyholder RMA exception requests;
• Train team on SOPs to resolve CI Max suspensions - may on more complex suspensions
• Demonstrating superior customer focus while maintaining the highest level of professionalism to ensure the customer's needs are met, employee engagement is high and production goals are achieved
• Monitoring the team status of suspended documents and provide guidance to ensure that the required information is received and timely processed in accordance with established SOPs and RMA procedures;
• Providing knowledge of crop insurance policy and procedure to your team; along with guidance, review and process of crop insurance documents associated with the procurement of Crop insurance
• Monitoring HEAT ticket resolution and documentation of software issues or enhancement requests and communication with agent regarding status
• Ensure the team is capable of providing superior customer service internally and externally, while handling any escalated issues as appropriate

Basic Qualifications:

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 4 or more years experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area OR
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory environment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area AND
• Bachelors degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area OR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skill in a high-volume, production environment
• 3 or more years of leadership experience
• Insurance industry experience
• Knowledge and understanding of the Crop Insurance program and underwriting/claims processing policies and procedures
• Experience preparing and managing operational budgets
• Familiarity with production/metrics performance environment
• Agriculture industry experience
