Job Summary
The position of the Insurance Coordinator is to ensure insurance dental claims are paid in an
accurate and timely manner. Below are just a few of the daily tasks and responsibilities this role requires. The work requires that sensitive timelines be met so some flexibility in these
responsibilities will be needed at times.
Just a few of the Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, member eligibility and dental billing
  • Actively reviewing claims rejection reports and correcting any issues
  • Researching outstanding claims & >30 days in a timely manner
  • Working with payers to resolve claim issues
  • Actively work any insurance denials or no pays
  • Submitting corrective claims for any incorrect procedures rendered
  • Submitting refunds requests for any payments made in error
You Must Have
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some familiarity using Google suite.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and research skills
Nice to Have
  • Understanding of CDT Codes and 837 terminologies
