Liaise with local vendors to move goods (by road, rail, air or sea) in accordance with customer requirements.

Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, B/L, permit declaration and shipping related issues to meet all requirements and authority.

Prepare bills of lading: Prepare bills of lading and associated shipping documentation in accordance with customs and legal requirements.

Oversee cargo storage requirements: Oversee the implementation of requirements in the storage of customer cargo.

Manage carriers: Manage carriers and help customers in assessing route, performance, mode, and costs.

Oversees resource needs and skill set gathering for implementation to ensure a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.

Identifies key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Division Manager, Brokerage Area Managers, etc.) to raise awareness and drive process improvements.

Sets & validates strategies, project value statements, user requirements, and customer expectations to ensure customer and project requirements are met

Manages the implementation roll-out plans to ensure effective project implementations.

Manages testing process and reviews test results to ensure modifications to product and processes occur as needed.

Manages project lifecycles, including project scope, resources, schedule, initiation, start-up/design, building, and deployment to see projects from beginning-to-end.

Coaching and management skills; able to train, coach and develop

Responsible to ensure customer’s needs, requirements, and KPIs are met or exceeded

Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department

6+ years' experience in freight forwarding and airfreight export required. Import experience as well is preferred

2+ years leadership experience in the freight forwarding industry strongly desired.

CargoWise software experience a plus

Management of third party suppliers and vendors, as required.

Accurate data entry and computer skills (Excel/Outlook a must)

Accountable for managing the delivery of Deployment Plan requirements for the Supply Chain Team.

Ensure training and knowledge within the Global Customer Operations Team is up to date and relevant.

Experience of fast paced customer services environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Prepare and present high-level operations reporting of KPIs and metrics including quality and financial performance dashboards to executive management.

10+ years of experience in global operations

Strong technical skills in chemical industry strongly preferred

Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including warehousing and logistics, customer service, and employee management

Negotiate contracts with vendors, manage budget and cost management

Solid understanding of best practices in supply planning, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, logistics and E-Commerce  

Utilize comprehensive/in-depth understanding of customer requirements and focus on high leverage opportunities to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction

Develop strategic plans to improve the productivity, quality, and efficiency of shipping and warehouse operations while maintaining excellent customer experience

Develop and improve the E-Commerce Supply Chain/Warehouse capabilities to support our Amazon strategy  

Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems and HRIS)

Proven work experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar role

Help develop compensation and benefits plans.

Set objectives for the HR team and track progress across clear deliverables and OKR’s.

Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment.

10+ years of progressive experience in business, operations, or manufacturing is a requirement

Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, Master’s degree, a plus

Substantial P&L responsibility over the last ten years, with ability to effectively read and understand detailed financial statements

5-7 years of relevant experience in external communications, and customer engagement

Experience advising executives and business leaders - agency or consultancy experience is a plus.

5 to 10 years of operations management, pharmaceuticals, and freight experience.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

Manage freight operations to ensure that cost-effective and efficient freight services are provided to customers.

Must have 5+ years of EDI knowledge & experience (raw data analysis and ASN requirements)

Manage the complete sales order lifecycle

Manage EDI process from initial transmission through to shipping activity, input manual orders, availability check, credit check, and coordinating until invoicing

Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. Inventory planning, warehouse management)

Confer with ship coordinators and DC managers to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, and minimize cost

Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery)

Develop and manage payment systems to ensure the accuracy of vendor payment and freight claims

5 years of experience in the logistics industry or related industry

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, TMS and ERP systems (e.g. JDE)

Strong project management and organizational skills: high attention to detail with excellent work product, time management, and execution

Measure and analyze operational performance to drive improved service and customer experience

Internal tooling requirements are properly prioritized and delivered
