Freelance Cad Designer Jobs

Intermediate-Advanced SolidWorks (or equivalent) software skills

Manage workflow by utilizing project management tool (Asana)

Prepare detailed, multi-layered 2D site plans drawings for all experience elements for festivals and concerts using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D

Ensure that safety standards are maintained on every experience plan and understand code for each city

Communicate with various departments and incorporate knowledge gained into drawings

At least 5 years of work experience in 2D/3D CAD work, ideally in outdoor applications

Strong GPS Geotag mapping skills

Experience with Engineering data management systems (Solidworks EPDM preferred).

Experience/capabilities in the design of metal and plastic components.

Create concepts for new projects based on customer requirements and also communicate the concepts during internal and/or customer design reviews.

5+ years' experience as a CAD designer (or similar).

Skilled in the use of ANSI drafting principles and practices.

Ability to manage several tasks/projects at a given time in a high pace environment.

Proficiency using client drawing management software

Technical degree or Associates degree in drafting or equivalent job experience

Experience with CAD software, AutoCad and Revit

A technical background in drafting design and experience using CAD software

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Driven to learn and develop new skills

4 years minimum CAD/software design related experience

Excellent mechanical/electrical/software design solving skills.

Excellent CAD or related software skills.

Minimum three years of experience in civil engineering drafting and design. Airport, transportation, or land development experience, desired.

Knowledge of correct English usage including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.

Research market trends and styles, ensuring comprehensive product and competitor knowledge and communicating knowledge as necessary through written and verbal presentations

Ensure schedule is met for proper delivery of collections. Help manage work flow between design, sample rooms, production and sales

5+ years of experience in luxury ready-to-wear and bridal collections

In-depth knowledge of RTW design techniques and processes; draping and embellishments

Strong experience working with in-house Ateliers

Responsible for design development and research for current and Women’s Ready-to-Wear collections

Organize and manage tasks to efficiently check items off the to-do list

Take pride in executing responsibilities to contribute to the company's success

Successfully adapt to the production requirements of a high-volume studio while maintaining established quality standards

Provide behind-the-scenes support to the Schools department

Assist in digital and administrative production for the rapidly expanding company

Edit and organize student information for school and preschool volume-based work

Clean up of general and quality notes through provided general instructions/guidance and redlines, and adherence to client template requirements

Access to PDM vault – can directly own all stages of the drawing update workflow up to PCH submission and release

Onsite availability would be a nice to have for better collaboration when needed

Pulling information directly from a central excel tracking tool for drawing/part specific information and to guide priority and workload

Conversion of critical dimension callouts to a new convention

Peer review of drawings from other supporting team members (John & Johnny) prior to submitting for engineering review
