Freelance Cad Designer Jobs in Iowa

4 years minimum CAD/software design related experience

Excellent mechanical/electrical/software design solving skills.

Excellent CAD or related software skills.

Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.

Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.

Coordinate with appropriate units of the business to evaluate outputs and deliverables for integrity, function, durability and manufacturability.

Knowledge of the market, and ability to apply that knowledge in generating ideas and designs

Knowledge of typography, illustration, and photography.

Experience working with multiple Adobe Creative Cloud programs: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator CC, and PDF export settings.

Ability to meet deadlines and follow and expand upon design briefs.

Creative, out-of-the-box thinking; inclination to go above and beyond initial prompts and ideas.

An online portfolio showcasing your best work.

Maintain CAD files and corresponding documents in all existing data management systems.

Experience using Windchill PDMLink 11.0/12.0 with Workgroup Manager or equivalent PLM/PDM system

Ensure requirements of the PDP process are followed as necessary.

Ensure that quality system requirements are being met.

Ensure a safe work environment consistent with OSHA requirements and Abbott Policies.

Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
