Assists in hiring, training, and on-going supervision of the front desk staff.

Provides feedback to front desk staff on performance, maintains performance documentation and conducts annual performance review evaluations .

Develops and maintains work schedules of the front desk staff.

Creates guest accounts, applies payments, and reconciles any erroneous transactions on guest folios and takes necessary actions to resolve guest grievances.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager.

1 to 3 years of related experience.

Resolve guest complaints and concerns by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions.

Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.

Prepares all necessary reports during each shift for the management team

Have full knowledge of all parking options and charges, always offering luggage assistance

Yield Management implementation to include assisting with yield control and pricing structure set forth with front office manager

Make recommendations to management regarding development, training and corrective action of team members.

Working knowledge of all rates, packages, and booking restrictions

Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary

Directly supervises front office and guest services teams and manages the front office team in Front Office managers’ absence

Greets, registers, assigns rooms to guests, and inputs information into the property management system

Checks guests out of property management and phone system.
