Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

Ability to operate Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

University Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience

Experience in a distribution environment.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or operations environment. Minimum 2 years of management experience.

Responsible for hiring, training, and performance management

Closely manage the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center.

Communicate effectively with the Operations Managers in regard to all DC-related initiatives.

Regularly interact and collaborate with District Managers and Market Representatives in the region.

Experience with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems, Labor Management Systems and Material Handling equipment.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to exercise good judgement in handling difficult situations.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

Manages the Receiving team, including the Receiving Clerks and Put-away /Replenishment Specialists.

Works closely with the demand planning, purchasing, and inventory management teams to maintain accurate inventory for each inventory product/location.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in a distribution warehouse environment required, with hospital system environment preferred.

Bachelor/Master's Degree in Business Management or related field or combination of relevant education, experience & training

Minimum 5 years operation direction experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment

Experience with SAP, WMoS and Kronos would be a plus

Experience with budget overseeing and accountability

Excellent verbal, written and listening interpersonal skills, ability to lead other and influence at various levels of the organization

Understand the end-to-end movement of product through the facility and be a catalyst for flow.

Experience in project management and demonstrated success in process improvement.

Managing the distribution center operations while ensuring and maintaining direct, productive, and positive relationships between and among management and non-exempt associates.

Bachelor’s Degree, with a concentration in Operations Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.

Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of products is maintained

Manage a team of distribution and logistics professionals

Develop and implement strategies to improve distribution and logistics processes

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products

Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to optimize distribution processes and reduce costs

Should possess skills to drive results, handle change-management, and achieve/exceed targets and goals

Site management of the daily operational warehousing business at the Atlanta location

Usage of quality/management standards and tools common in the automotive industry (FMEA, Lean Management, PDCA, Problem Solving Sheets, 8D, etc.)

Manage of a team of direct reports comprised of operational leaders, trainers, and the facility and maintenance team

7+ years of experience in logistics, SCM or warehouse-operations

5+ years of experience with WMS systems

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management (or related field) and minimum of 10+ years proven equivalent work experience.

5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience and skills, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment

Manage fleet of material handling equipment

Proven experience with implementing lean practices

Establish strong working relationships with the workforce
