Distribution Center Shipping Manager Jobs in Georgia

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related field

Minimum of 7 yrs of HR experience, with at least 5 yrs in a distribution center / manufacturing environment

Prior HR generalist experience with significant employee relations experience is required

Human Resources Certification is preferred

Represents the Company in the community through membership and involvement in various professional and community organizations.

Serves as subject matter expert on Company-wide and cross-functional projects and initiatives.

What skills/certification/education must the individual have/maintain/gain? Include any degrees, certifications, and licenses required.

Ensure proper processing of all inventory movement transactions within SAP data management.

A four-year degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, operations management, or related field preferred.

Obtain and remain current on certifications and training as required or assigned.

5 years of experience in material handling, logistics, and/or shipping/receiving

Experience in Lean Manufacturing is preferred.

3-5+ years of warehouse or pipe yard management or supervisory experience preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
