In this hands-on role, you will direct the flow of work involved with receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of automotive parts in our 262,800 square foot warehouse facility on Camp Creek Parkway in Atlanta. The Distribution Center Manager for the Atlanta Distribution - Center will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage of a team of direct reports comprised of operational leaders, trainers, and the facility and maintenance team
• Oversee operational budget and spending
• Site management of the daily operational warehousing business at the Atlanta location
• Drive results and continuous improvement initiatives related to Safety, Quality, Costs and Delivery performance while ensuring compliance to corporate directives
• Usage of quality/management standards and tools common in the automotive industry (FMEA, Lean Management, PDCA, Problem Solving Sheets, 8D, etc.)
• Drive Bosch Production System principles, Continuous Improvement and Lean development in the warehouse operations
• Identify gaps in performance, pinpoint root cause and lead implementation of corrective actions
• Set and drive strategic goals

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in logistics, SCM or warehouse-operations
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply-chain or business administration
• 3+ years of experience in leadership, managing teams
• 3+ years of experience with MS Office-applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience with WMS systems

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with Tableau Application and Platform
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Should possess skills to drive results, handle change-management, and achieve/exceed targets and goals
• SAP or other ERP experience
• Willing to work a Flex Shift as necessary and based on business needs
• Experience with production operations
• Strong judgment in establishing work assignments in the areas of responsibility and in the selection and interpretation of data
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible working hours with the requirement to support a three-shift operation
• Extended Knowledge in BPS or similar system and Lean and Quality tools
• Experience in Automotive industry
