Sunstate is seeking an influential and collaborative Director of Fleet Procurement to develop and implement a centralized procurement program that drives value and efficiency. What You Will Enjoy Doing..
  • Build market position by locating, developing, and defining opportunities within the equipment marketplace.
  • Accurately track and report key functional metrics.
  • Adhere to and maintain budgets.
  • Foresee trends and predict alterations in the negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
  • Discover profitable suppliers; work with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Examines risks and potential outcomes before committing.
  • Drive the Sunstate values daily.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Recommends investment opportunities by identifying new and innovative trends.
  • Develop negotiating strategies and actionable plans by studying the equipment market, competitors, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with other teams and peers to ensure clear communication and gain buy-in.
Skills & Experience You Bring..
  • Strong analytical skills / experience
  • Proven development and success of strategic initiatives and plans
  • Strong relationship / people skills
  • 5-10 years of Analyst experience
  • 10+ years of fleet purchasing and management
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.)
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills
  • Supply chain management and logistics skills
