Director Chemical Plant Operations Jobs

Must have previous plant leadership experience or large Operations Manager role with multiple departments reporting directly

USDA experience is a plus

Cleans and visually inspects the railcar before transfer to ensure that it is mechanically sound

Connects or disconnects loading arm hose for transfer of product

Inspects for any leaks, weighs railcars and completes required paperwork

Direct and manage all plant operations for production, sanitation, maintenance, shipping, receiving, and warehousing.

Set monthly objectives for departmental managers and schedule daily/weekly/monthly review meetings to review performance KPIs and open actions.

Develop and manage the facility budget to achieve the annual cost objectives aligned with the business plan.

10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations

Ensures that the truck/rail car is secured and inspected at the loading rack.

Transfers product according to procedures.

Checks product weight in truck/rail car to ensure limitations do not exceed.

5+ years of manufacturing management experience - Ideally as a Plant Manager or Operations Lead within Packaging/Print/Manufacturing

Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Communicate effectively with all levels of management, including supervision and hourly associates.

Manage a team of circa 100 Employees

Manage and direct the day-to-day functions of the manufacturing operations in New Jersey.

Determine capacity requirements vs forecast and recommend needed capital expenditures to support business growth

Bachelor’s Degree educated with 10+ years of Packaging experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or operations, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Oversee all aspects of facility management, including maintenance, remodels, capital projects, inventory management, and property improvements.

Develop and implement strategic plans for facility management and operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, medical staff, and external contractors, to ensure effective coordination of facility operations.

Ensure efficient inventory management, overseeing the procurement of equipment and supplies as necessary.

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred

3 years experience in a management setting in healthcare

Provides fiscal management for department operations to ensure proper utilization of financial resources.

Work with Education Director to ensure that required annual fire safety training is offered to all staff.

Bachelors of Science degree in engineering, architecture, safety, construction management or related field preferred.

Knowledge or experience with CMS (Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services Conditions of Participation)

Seven years experience in related career fields.

5+ years of management experience

Superior analytical skills to anticipate manufacturing requirements and develop contingency plans that eliminate or reduce disruption to operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field

Manage/execute and deliver on KPI's to include (but not limited to): Safety, Quality, People, Service, and Cost

Manage technology and process improvement projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations function.

Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred, required to obtain within two (2) years of hire.

Three (3) to five (5) years of maintenance/facilities experience required, five or more years preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years of leadership/supervisory experience

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

o Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, transport logistics and/or manufacturing operations.

o Responsible for time and attendance management, performance reviews, and

o Own the budget and be responsible for the management of direct and indirect

Experience with OSHA, CMS, Joint Commission requirements and standards within a health or hospital environment preferred.

Manages plat operation staff according to existing policies, procedures, budgetary constraints and safe practices.

Services as the department fiscal manager.

Additional Requirements – Valid TX Driver’s License.

One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience required.

Management duties including, but not limited to, hiring, training and developing, coaching and counseling, and terminating department staff as deemed necessary.

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.

Minimum of three (3) years related experience.

Practical knowledge of day-to-day maintenance and facility physical plant upkeep.

Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Plant management experience, with two years’ managing an organization of this scale desired.

This position manages all employees in the plant and is responsible for their performance management, with input from other functional leaders

Must have five (5) years of experience as Plant Manager in an automotive setting
