Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

Reports to Sr. Manager, Director Sr. Director or VP

Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.

Supervise and coordinate to perform and complete all deliveries, vendor pick-ups and other delivery driver duties as assigned by Management.

Salary $50K, Based on Experience!

Above average computer literacy and experience are required for this position.

Full Time, Monday-Friday with a start time of 7 a.m.

98% execution of appointment times, Bill of Lading utilization as determined in each lane by the senior manager, dwell time management

Directly manage territory Home Delivery Drivers including the performance development, scheduling and training, etc.

Directly manage regional Home Delivery drivers including fleet safety within the region

Cultivate strong relationships with the Alternative Delivery Team, Regional Leadership, Local Logistics Managers, Store Leadership, drivers and customers

Strong communication skills required (both oral and written) to act as principle point of contact for the department.

Schedule: 8:30 -5:00, Comfortable with flexing the schedule to be 8-4:30, or 7:30 to 4 for the right candidate

Estimated Length of Contract: 6-9months.

Researches the delivery and licensing status of vehicles located delivered by transport vendors throughout the country.

Reviews ready vehicles and releases for transport.

1 year of management/supervisory experience

3 years of delivery/distribution experience

Supervise a team of delivery drivers.

Responsible for the direction, coordination and evaluation of all distribution activities for assigned drivers/routes.

Ensure accurate deliveries and excellent customer service.

High School Degree/Certification (or equivalent), and a minimum of two (2) years work experience in chemical processing manufacturing.

Handling data entry into the various electronic systems. (SAP, Excel, Tulip, Oflow).

Four (4) years working experience in a chemical logistics environment.

Experience using software programs: SAP and MS Office.

DOT, IATA, and IMDG certifications.

Supporting Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and Material Handler.

Ensure all employees have adequate training for their jobs (Safety, quality, regulatory requirements, job specific tasks/functions.)

Manage workflow and assignments of team members to ensure optimal safety, quality, and output.

3+ years experience on Logistics / Supply Chain leading operations for Domestic and or Export shipments

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills

3+ years of experience managing and leading direct reports.

Maintain sufficient team staffing to support operation and business goals (resolve staffing issues created by request for vacation, PTO, etc.)

Warehouse receiving, picking, shipping or inventory/reverse logistics experience required.

Direct the work flow in the assigned work centers to achieve prescribed objectives

Achieve productivity and accuracy goals in product putaway

Develop work schedules that ensure adequate coverage in assigned work centers

Train, coach, counsel and discipline staff as necessary

Perform audits on units, skus, bins and/or loads to prevent errors and increase operational compliance.

Prior leadership and management experience a plus

Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training

Ensure core internal audit guidelines and procedures are followed and met, including cash handling, Kronos time-card management, fuel card management, etc.

Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience

Manage, lead, and motivate a team of Full-Service Delivery Merchandisers and Cashiers to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines

Partner cross-functionally to manage and lead effective communication with sales, warehouse, and route planning teams

Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience

Responsible for ensuring all logistics associates meet DOT and CMV requirements

Identify and recommends opportunities for associate development and performance improvement requirements

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of the product to the customer

Ensures new logistics associates are trained and ensures understanding of organization and operation policies and service guidelines

Manage the day-to-day activities including receiving, kitting, customer shipments and inventory control.

Provide leadership and manage a direct team size of 10 or more daily.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

5 or more years' experience in Warehouse and Manufacturing Operations.

Previous people leadership and material handling experience required.

Knowledge of inventory control procedures.

Inventory management (ensuring location accuracy, volumes, and proper storage methods are met)

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain and logistics management or related field preferred

Process adherence (ensuring standardized reporting/work is being completed by clerks)

2 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor

General knowledge of Warehousing / Logistics / Manufacturing

Ensuring ASN data matches physical receipts in WMS

Must have ability to manage to contact center Service Level Agreements and display mastery of contact center management tools

Manage performance reviews and time off for direct reports

Effective communication skills via telephone, email and in-person

Form strong partnerships with Team Manager, Team Account Manager, and Team Specialists, and organizations supporting service delivery (IT, Payroll, AMS, etc.)

Assumes other duties as assigned by Manager

Analytical skills; strong research and follow up skills

Knowledge of DOT/FMSCA/OSHA regulations and requirements.

Oversee and manage operations to budget.

Supervise compliance with DOT/FMCSA/OSHA regulations and requirements.

Strategically manage to the business model.

College degree in related field or equal experience in a supervisory role.

Experience and demonstrated success in leadership position requiring accomplishment of standards or goals through subordinates.

Ensures that all process and quality specifications are followed in the shipping/receiving of scheduled components.

Responsible for monitoring shipping results and ensure that budget rates are exceeded.
