3-5 years experience as a journalist and/or writer in media, marketing, or advertising

Excellent short-form and long-form writing skills in a variety of voices and tones to work across various mediums

Excellent grasp of grammar, AP style, and familiarity with AA conformance requirements (or a willingness to learn)

Solid editing and proofreading capabilities

Copywriting experience is a big bonus but not required

Experience supporting federal budget, program planning an execution, and federal financial management experience.

Implement and maintain management control systems required to plan, organize, direct, and control activities

BA/BS or Master's in English, Communication, Business, Management, Social or Political Science.

BA/BS + 15 years of relevant experience or Master's + 10 years of relevant experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing similar contracts.

Data file management and organization

Provide data management support, including hard drive and cloud asset library organization

Remote work with occasional in-person collaboration

Full project video editing, from ingest to export

Create high-quality video content for a variety of mediums, including web and social

Ability to one-man band film on smaller projects

Strength and versatility as a writer — the skills to effortlessly write engaging, approachable text while maintaining a predefined, authoritative voice

Editing rough drafts submitted by our network of writers
