Overview A Continuous Improvement Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects that are focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization. They are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve processes and procedures, as well as identifying and resolving any issues that arise. They must be able to work with all levels of the organization and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Detailed Job Description A Continuous Improvement Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects that are focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization. They are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve processes and procedures, as well as identifying and resolving any issues that arise. They must be able to work with all levels of the organization and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.The Continuous Improvement Project Manager will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve processes and procedures
• Identifying and resolving any issues that arise
• Working with all levels of the organization
• Developing and managing project plans
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress
• Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Ensuring that projects meet the desired objectives
• Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• Providing guidance and support to project team members
Job Skills Required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Knowledge of process improvement techniques
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles
• Knowledge of quality management systems
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in project management
• 5+ years of experience in process improvement
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
