- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Apply strong analytical skills to analyze data and metrics, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Travel up to 75% of the time to various plant locations, providing on-site support, conducting process analysis, and facilitating improvement projects.
- Utilize your expertise in automated assembly and AutoCad to design and implement efficient manufacturing layouts and workflows.
- Monitor and track progress of improvement initiatives, regularly reporting results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong plant relationships, working closely with plant managers and teams to understand their needs and challenges, and provide guidance and support in implementing improvement initiatives.
- Train and coach plant teams on continuous improvement techniques, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement is embedded throughout the organization.
- Lead and manage all aspects of our continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the successful implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Host kaizen improvement events, engaging employees at all levels of the organization to participate in problem-solving and process improvement activities.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify areas for improvement.
- Proficiency in automated assembly and AutoCad, with the ability to design and optimize manufacturing layouts.
- Proven experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with emphasis in industrial, food processing, or chemical engineering preferred
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, visiting various plant locations and providing on-site support.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing 5S methodologies and other continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and facilitating kaizen improvement events, driving employee engagement and participation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
