The FIJI Water Logistics Team distributes world-class, iconic products such as FIJI Water, JUSTIN Wines, and Landmark Wines. We've transformed the way FIJI Water delivers products to consumers. Instead of the historical delivery to distributors who then perform direct store replenishment, we deliver directly to retailers.


The team is seeking a new Continuous Improvement Transportation Manager who appreciates working in the business while working on the business. The role of the Continuous Improvement Transportation Manager is to lead process innovation automation, develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, improve productivity, and drive loss elimination across Transportation, Outbound trucking, and Drayage departments. This role will simultaneously work on independent projects and collaboratively play a leadership role. This manager will provide expertise in problem-solving and process optimization tools and techniques and help drive continuous improvement, reduce costs, and overall business improvement.



  • Champion WOW, the company's continuous improvement program
  • Work closely with Outbound Transportation Manager and International and Drayage Manager to develop and/or execute logistics contracting strategies for all drayage and last mile transportation and provide support for annual budget and audit
  • Lead supply chain/transportation initiatives with accountability to improve processes and quality of service level while balancing FIJI Water & The Wonderful Company’s financial objectives
  • Establish and manage continuous improvement strategies and cost saving programs and execute programs to drive advanced automation and cost reduction
  • Manage outbound transportation projects to improve service, OTIF and to reduce cost
  • Conduct ad hoc research and analysis for Outbound transportation
  • Responsible for track, report and present project update and results to sr. leadership team
  • Manage drayage projects to improve service, on time performance, lead-time, dwell time and to reduce cost
  • Build and support advanced visualizations using Power BI or similar software
  • Identify through cost analysis the lowest cost accessorial option from port of departure to 3PL and implement
  • Work closely with internal departments including outbound trucking, drayage, distribution, customer service, planning teams, finance and external department including trucking and drayage vendors & 3PLs regarding project implementation and process improvement


Qualifications


  • Strong leadership, relationship building and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills with proven data visualization skills
  • Self-motivated, high-energy individual who can function in a high demand, performance-driven environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook, Power BI, Office Suite
  • Minimum of 4-5 years work experience in transportation, supply chain and project management
  • BS/BA required, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Engineering or related field
  • Experience in global business settings with proven ability to manage large cross-functional projects
  • Ideal candidate, 2-4 years of transportation contract negotiation experience
  • Experience with ERP system (Oracle), freight & analytics tool (DAT) & supply chain visibility Platform (FourKites) preferred
  • Knowledge in applying continuous improvement techniques and analytical tools such as Lean and Six Sigma (DMAIC) to achieve improved business results (Six Sigma Green Belt preferred but not required)


Pay Range: $90,000 - $95,000 base salary and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
