3-5 years of related experience and/or ability to perform Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of all aspects of consumer real estate loans.

Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products and solutions preferred

Three or more years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of lending/credit experience and commensurate training

Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable bank and sales center policies, procedures and support systems

Effective written and verbal communication skills to include professional telephone etiquette

Effective problem-solving and active listening skills

Experienced with inbound and outbound calling to follow up with clients

Recommend loan approval/denials, counter-offers, and deviations from conventional loan structure and pricing. Manage loan closing process with customers.

Consult with members and the public about asset purchase, credit management, budgeting, debt restructuring, and financial planning issues.

Make outbound calls to members to solicit loan applications.

Interview consumer loan applicants. Assist member in completing loan applications over the phone and/or electronically.

Collate, analyze, and evaluate information & documentation in support of loan applications.

Evaluate borrower Character, Collateral, Capacity to Repay, and Credit position as a part of loan decisioning process based upon individual circumstances.

2 years of experience in a financial institution or lending environment

Bilingual (English/French or English/Spanish) skills are a plus

Post/Fund loans and disburse funds by verifying figures including processing of deferred fees and costs.

Paying monthly NFP, United Guaranty and Proctor Finance invoices

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a lending environment

Education: College Degree, preferably a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent

Minimum of five years of Loan Review/Credit Risk Review or consumer lending experience.

Will participate in Credit Process/Target Reviews of the Consumer and Residential loan portfolios. May be asked to lead less complex Reviews.

Time Management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
