Past Customer Service and account management experience is a must

Account management: 2 years (Preferred)

Experience using Work Oasis, Corrigo, Service Channel, FM Pilot or another CMMS system strongly preferred

Responding to Service Requests via email, phone and industry-based software

Following up with Customers and Vendors

Proficient in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Experienced and advanced knowledge, skills and abilities with AAON

Electrical or temperature control experience required and EPA Certification Preferred (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)

Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)

Area Service Manager – Commercial HVAC

Reports to: Regional Operations Manager

Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record

Vocational school or prior experience in HVAC, construction or similar industry a plus

EPA Certification Preferred (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and balance requirements of multiple and varied duties

Reports to: Area Service Manager

Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent

5+ Years residential HVAC experience, management experience preferred

Daily management of high-volume service department, HVAC service technicians and staff

Hire, lead, and train a team of techs on technical and sales knowledge.

Knowledgeable on how to teach sales and new techniques.

Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements

Strong organizational leadership skills to lead and grow a team of technicians.

Working experience and advanced skills with CRM, preferably SalesForce

Transform the business mix via new product introductions focused on Healthy Buildings, Digitally-Enabled offerings, Sustainability offerings, and key vertical-focuses

5+ years’ experience in the HVAC or in the Building Technologies industries

Demonstrated experience in Service and Aftermarket industries in sales

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)

Superior follow-up and follow-through skills

Identifies, researches, and resolves dealer issues using analytical skills and Salesforce Client Relationship Management

5+ years’ experience in sales, account management, or related role

3-5 years’ experience in HVAC, home improvement, residential solar, contracting, or generator sales. HVAC and plumbing dealer management preferred

Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, home improvement, generator and contractor dealer management and development. HVAC and plumbing dealer management preferred

Advises dealers on sound business practices, such as maintaining financial statements, working capital management, and SG & A planning

Achieve 50% direct charge percentage through direct account management, project management, support and account development.

2+ years of building automation and controls experience

1+ years of experience in Microsoft office suite

Very strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask and manage multiple issues concurrently

Knowledge of HVAC control and mechanical systems

Three or more years of management experience in a similar service deliverable environment.

Five plus years in a service management role directing a similar service deliverable team
