Reinforce knowledge management guidelines currently in development to help support file organization via SharePoint sites

You have excellent interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills

Effectively utilize SharePoint, Smartsheets , remote meeting platforms, and other administrative tools.

Gain knowledge of the frequency and schedule of meetings as well as the meeting agendas within the CDR portfolio.

Understand the reporting requirements and processes associated with the US CDR projects.

Direct climate adaptation or resilience-related professional experience.

Experience working with disadvantaged communities.

Strong willingness and patience to share your knowledge with others who may be novice in the field.

An advanced degree is preferred.

An understanding of what systemic changes are needed to enable greater climate resilience.

Comfort in developing a new program without a blueprint.

Strong research and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize research and evidence (qualitative and quantitative).

Experience in research methods for data collection and processing and the ability to translate findings into policy-oriented reports.

Knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals and the ability to apply them to strategic and/or practical situations

Excellent verbal and communications skills.

Capacity to work under pressure, manage stress and adapt to rapidly evolving situations.

Master’s degree in environmental sciences, Development Economics, Energy, Public Finance, Environmental Law, or other closely related field

Possession of strong management capabilities

3+ years of experience as a project manager

Experience within the DoD or Air Force

Knowledge of climate challenges facing military installations

Ability to manage a schedule and workload, to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously

Developing and maintaining operational reports that track progress on PSEGLI climate adaption initiatives

Technical and team management experience for complex projects in a consulting environment

10+ years of relevant professional experience

What You’ll Need To Have (Minimum Qualifications) …

3+ years of experience in project management, community management, or strategic partnership building in a multicultural environment

Demonstrated experience in conducting research and report writing

Demonstrated organization and communication skills (verbal, written and editorial)

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience with multi-stakeholder collaborations is preferred

Outline a possible roadmap of actions to turbocharge climate mitigation, identifying innovators fromm within and beyond the World Economic Forum’s communities

Extensive knowledge of practical engineering and organizational protection measures for natural hazards, with experience in catastrophe modelling tools and outputs.

Knowledge of risk transfer mechanisms, especially underwriting Nat Cat requirements, processes, guidelines, and tools.

Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area

Knowledge of exposures, controls and best practice risk improvement

Strong engineering background with extensive insurance sector knowledge.

Serving as a technical expert supporting external customers and internal business partners, responsibilities include:

Lead and assist with climate change education programs and outreach.

Experience and competency in GIS preferred

Research best practices and strategies to address impacts of climate change

Support updates of hazard mitigation plans

Perform GIS mapping and analysis

Gather data and information on climate change, natural hazards, and other relevant topics.

Draft reports and other planning documents

Lead and assist with climate change education programs and outreach.
