Directs, develops, and presents to management various analyses that include organization, systems, feasibility and cost/benefit studies, implementation plans.

2 years of leadership or management experience required.

Directs development and management of service management processes including, but not limited to:

Directs and evaluates all departmental activities including research, design and development of new technologies, service level determination and complaint management.

Helps develop dealership service and parts pricing plans with the fixed ops management team.

Monitor work in process system to ensure team is closing repair orders on a daily basis.

Ensure any policy charge variations are approved

Develops implements and monitors goals and objectives for the departments and strives to meet them.

Trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of the entire service team.

Holds daily and weekly team meetings.

Manage internal projects that improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.

Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field preferred

Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness, including a proven track record of improving support operations during substantial year-over-year growth

Experience planning and managing projects

Working knowledge of ADAS and electrical service (calibrations, programming, diagnostics, wire/connector repair, etc.)

Strong technological skills, including but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

5+ years’ Service Manager experience with a luxury automotive dealership REQUIRED

Manage the activities of the service department, ensure efficient and profitable operation of the department

Plan, organize, and lead service department operations to meet/exceed dealership goals and manufacturer requirements.

Prior experience using Reynolds & Reynolds software preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Supervisor department employees to include training, motivation, counseling, and documenting employee performance to maximize production and client satisfaction.

Build a strong Management team by making decisions regarding employment, performance appraisal, salary changes, promotions, transfers or terminations.

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: 110K – 140K (commensurate with experience)

Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or equivalent knowledge of commercial, technical and/or industry practice and principles; and

Minimum 6 - 8 years relate d experience and/or training; or

Very good organizational, time management and administrative skills

Proven experience maintaining industrial products with a high need for reliability

Experience setting up Service Centers or managing a business or cost center

Experience enabling 3rd party service centers

Excellent analytical skills in Excel

Provide excellent service for customers, ensuring that all SLAs are met, ensuring quality and timely servicing of parts
