Review monthly commission sheets, productivity reports, salespersons’ monthly forecasts, and profit performance with the Dealer by salesperson and as a department.

15+ overall years of experience in Finance at technology companies; with 7+ years of leading a team

Develop business process and system improvements and support broader Finance process and automation initiatives

Build and maintain strong partnerships within the Company, including mentorship and development of the Finance team

Bachelor’s degree or MBA (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities - Finance and Insurance Manager:

Experienced with state law requirements including registrations, tag, tax, and title paperwork

At least 2 years of automotive F&I experience is required

Fully versed in leasing and special finance

Excellent customer service, communication, and decision-making skills

Compensation in the $150,000 - $220,000 range based on experience and performance. Full benefits package available.

Manages placement of contracts while maximizing F&I PVR

Manages contracts in transit and ensures funding with constant communication with accounting office

Selects appropriate lender, secures approval, obtains customer commitment, and finalizes delivery

Acts as liaison between the customer and the lending institution.

Assists sales desk in structuring deal

Make a monthly projection of the vehicle requirements by department for the immediate 90-day sales period

Sell financing and other finance and insurance products to customers

Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory and otherwise

Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals

Facilitate pre-delivery with the Service Manager

The F&I Manager has a responsibility to log in sales income. Verify insurance with customers agents, obtain deposits, verify trade payoffs

Help customers obtain vehicle financing and sell aftermarket products

Complete all training certifications as directed by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Keep sales management up to date with regard to rates and products.

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all sources of finance and insurance products, factory and otherwise.

Submit proper documentation to obtain approval for all possible finance transactions.

Work with Sales Managers to secure a reasonable profit from each transaction.

Experience in SIOP management process with focus on Demand Planning and forecasting is desired.

Utilizing a structured and systematic Sales management approach to segment and attack the market.

Demonstrated mastery of Tier 1/OEM Key Account management

Manage contracts-in-place to ensure that customer and company relationship and performance are consistent with expectations on profitability, cashflow, service and quality.

Experience in super-alloy/metals (or comparable) industries is required.

Experience in CRM is desired

Previous AUTOMOTIVE Finance Manager experience required – NOT banking

Experience in state law requirements including registrations, tag, tax, and title paperwork

Two or more years of automotive finance experience preferred
