Completes annual educational requirements as determined by supervisor or CSVS policy if applicable.

Maintains regulatory requirements, including but not limited to CPR certification, annual physical assessment and PPD testing requirements.

Verifies patient insurance/demographic information for data entry. Reviews accuracy of billing information prior to submission for payment.

Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:

Contacts patients/insurance companies in a timely manner to collect unpaid insurance claims.

Mails all correspondence with patients and plan-payers in a timely manner.

Minimum 1-year experience with customer service, sales or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Assists supervisor in reviewing rate plan pricing, taxation, data entry and usage on bills prior to processing.

Position requires high school diploma or general education degree (GED);

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Monitors and reviews customer accounts for security deposit refunds.

Monitors Billing inquiry emails and handles accordingly.

Is knowledgeable of managed care contractual arrangements and EHN charity policies

Develops and maintains a working knowledge of EHN charity care policy, budget plan guidelines, and 3rd party insurance claims processing

Uses creativity/innovation in carrying out responsibilities/introducing new ideas or programs; adapts traditional methodologies in accordance with a changing business environment

Works in a safe manner and follows all EHN safety requirements

2 years Professional Fee billing experience preferred

IDX / GE Flowcast software experience preferred

3+ years of billing experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Accurately prepare billing and credit memos with the proper supporting documentation

Calculate payment amount on COD invoices

Follow up on collection for all COD accounts

Preparation and reconciliation of master billings to individual invoices

Continuous training through Asbury's Internal Learning Management System

Compares calculated gross to that of the sales management team, reflects and discrepancies accordingly

High School diploma or General education degree (GED); Six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Processes payoffs on trade-ins and floor plan, pulls contracts, and forwards to financial institutions

Prior automotive industry experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)

Proficient communication and organization skills

Processing all new and used vehicle titles and registration in the state in which they will be titled

Submitting all legal transfer work to the DMV

Verifying that funds have been collected

Accounting or Business Management Degree / Studies/ Courses or comparable accounting experience preferred

Communicate with the sales department and management on any outstanding issues.
