Overview The Assistant Athletics Director is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Athletics Department. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Department, including budgeting, scheduling, and personnel management. The Assistant Athletics Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Athletics Department. Detailed Job Description The Assistant Athletics Director is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Athletics Department. This position will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Department, including budgeting, scheduling, and personnel management. The Assistant Athletics Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Athletics Department. The Assistant Athletics Director will be responsible for managing the Athletics Department budget, including preparing and monitoring the budget, and ensuring that the budget is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Assistant Athletics Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Athletics Department. The Assistant Athletics Director will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating events and activities, including practices, games, and other events. The Assistant Athletics Director will also be responsible for managing the Athletics Department personnel, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in athletics administration
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
