Workday Payroll Processor Jobs

As a dedicated Workday Payroll Processor, you will prepare, document, and disburse payroll checks and taxes. You will also be responsible for Automated Clearing House banking activities such as Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT), rejects, recalls, and stop payments.

In your first few weeks in this Workday Payroll Processor role, you can expect to:

· Prepare reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including such items as tax payments and other ad-hoc reports on demand

· Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for the US and Canada via Workday

· Process miscellaneous off-cycle checks, including final paychecks and severance

· Provide Tier 2 support to field and corporate employees via the case management tool ServiceNow

· Participate in system testing as required for software/hardware upgrades, implementations, and integrations

To apply for this Workday payroll processing role, you will need proven experience as a payroll coordinator, analyst, or similar. You will also require familiarity with payroll processes and the flexibility to keep up with shifting legal requirements. In addition, you should have a good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll, such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the Wages and Fair Labor Standards Act, and a working knowledge of payroll systems (Workday required). You must also have Canadian payroll processing experience and be comfortable with Excel (functions, data, etc.).
