Job Description

Job Summary:



As the Wholesale Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding our brand presence and sales through effective management of our wholesale accounts. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our wholesale partners, overseeing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in wholesale management within the fashion industry, possessing exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.



Responsibilities:


  1. Develop and implement comprehensive wholesale strategies to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential wholesale partners, negotiate contracts, and establish mutually beneficial relationships.
  3. Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales plans and promotional activities.
  4. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for expansion and product development.
  5. Train and mentor the wholesale team, providing guidance, support, and feedback to maximize their performance and professional growth.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales data, market conditions, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  7. Ensure effective inventory management and replenishment to meet demand and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
  8. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing collateral, sales presentations, and other materials to support the wholesale channel.
  9. Conduct regular meetings and sales reviews with wholesale partners to review performance, address concerns, and develop strategies for growth.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.



Requirements:



  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Proven experience in wholesale management within the fashion industry, specifically in menswear.
  3. Strong knowledge of the wholesale market, including key players, industry trends, and distribution channels.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  5. Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, achieve targets, and manage sales teams effectively.
  6. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  7. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior.
  8. Proficiency in using sales management software and MS Office suite.
  9. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  10. Willingness to travel as needed to visit wholesale partners and attend industry trade shows.
