Job Title- Web Content / CMS Specialist

Job Location - 100% Remote

Duration-6 Months+

Pay rate: $50-60/hr

We are looking for a Web Content / CMS Specialist to support web content creation, optimization and delivery on our consumer website, directenergy.com. The Web Content/CMS Specialist will combine user-centered content with UX design best practices to build and maintain web pages.

The primary focus of this role will be to aid the Digital team in the website migration to Adobe Experience Manager.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Write and edit compelling content for our consumer-facing website experience to drive engagement and conversions

• Build and manage pages in the CMS, creating layouts that adhere to UX best practices

• Operate under limited guidance completing moderately complex projects

• Ensure content complies with brand standards, UX writing guidelines, web style guide, legal and SEO best practices

• Collaborate with a variety of digital, marketing and subject matter experts to produce web content for product pages, marketing landing pages, FAQs, long-form educational web content, and instructional/transactional content to guide users through digital journeys

• Initiate and assist with content updates on the directenergy.com website within our CMS, i.e. build landing pages, update or remove existing pages, fix issues such as broken links or HTML errors, update metadata

• Assist with troubleshooting and site audits to ensure UX, SEO, accessibility, regulatory compliance, and technical set-up adhere to best practices and business goals

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent education and experience

• 3+ years of experience in content strategy, content design, UX writing, or similar experience

• 3+ years of experience with AEM, SDL Tridion, Sitecore, Joomla, Shopify, Magneto, Drupal or similar CMS

• Technical proficiency in HTML

• Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Understanding of UX principles, information architecture and how content fits into the overall digital experience

• Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to take initiative on projects and work in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with MS Office
