DESCRIPTION:We are seeking aWeb Content & Communications Analyst with 6+ years of hands-on experience and proven abilities to support a high-profile Federal Government website.The scope of work includes developing content plans, production plans, and strategic communication plans to ensure business requirements are met with a high-quality experience.
Tasks will include creating, maintaining, and developing site and social media content including graphic design and storytelling.
The ideal candidate will be responsible forcreating and maintaining content for the customer agency website (including but not limited to: storytelling, graphic design, social media content, etc.). The candidate should have experience with government websites and be comfortable working in a team environment.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Support of the website content plan, production plan, and strategic communications plan.
·Seek out ideas for story ideas. Regularly conduct interviews and draft content for website.
·Develop innovative and creative content for the website (i.e., graphics, infographics, videos, podcasts, etc.).
·Create and coordinate social media content.
·Contribute to the editorial review process.
·Perform quality assurance reviews of website content and implement enhancements to the user experience.
·Analyze customer experience feedback.
·Track daily data analytics to analyze trends and the most popular content on the platform.
·Lead the editorial review process.
·Provide editorial and writing support to the blog.
REQUIREMENTS:

·Superior writing and editing skills
·Website project experience and familiarity with web software and technologies.
·Comfortable with a project environment that encourages initiative and collaboration
·Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
·Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated track record of working effectively in a team environment.
·Strong work ethic and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
·Exceptional knowledge management and organizational skills.

Secret (or meets the requirement to obtain Secret Clearance)
Education
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) or equivalent in English, communications, journalism, or other related field and at least three years of relevant experience.
