Warehouse Inventory Clerk (Full Time) # 7000

Today, Replacement Parts, Inc./ Crow Burlingame is made up of a corporate staff and several different companies that employ over 1,500 employees, in 12 states, working at approximately 200 locations, all operating in the aftermarket automotive parts, paint and heavy duty parts business. The Warehouse Employees’ job duties may vary within the warehouse operation. Functional areas may include: shipping, receiving, scanning, stocking, issuing, pulling, loading, and inventory of automotive parts, supplies, and equipment. Warehouse employees are responsible for the accurate manual and non-manual movement of freight, stock, or other materials and parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Fill in missing information or contact the customer for any needed information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Push and pull pallets of merchandise using pallet jack.
• Receive and process orders; review orders for completeness and clarity.
• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
• Assign store managers to specific duties while encouraging safety, health, and security practices.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Read orders to ascertain part numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Language Skills

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Basic knowledge and ability to use a computer.
