Accounting Representative (Full-Time Remote)

BAE Systems, Electronic Systems (ES) Sector is seeking an Accounting Representative to work remotely. The accounting organization is a trusted business partner delivering information and innovative solutions for decision-making in order to deliver quality products and capabilities to our customers and, ultimately, the warfighter. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Continues to improve accounting knowledge and skills through continuing education and training.
• Performs reconciliation of general ledger account activity
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as required
• Assists in travel exception reporting and clears errors in a timely manner
• Manages contract labor process such as weekly check support e-mail to agencies, new contractor set ups, contractor updates and responding to any questions/issues from agencies
• Assists in Procurement Accounts Payable aging issues

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Typically requires an Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent and two
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse work teams
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Exercises high clerical accuracy and independent judgment.
• (2) Years’ experience in a related area; or a High School education or equivalent with additional courses in Math and Accounting and a minimum of six (6) years directly related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Pursuant to a specific U.S. Government contract, selected individual must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with Oracle
• General knowledge of industry practices and standards

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $44770 - $71610

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
