Job Description
Direct the execution of strategic product pipeline activities and projects, while providing technical expertise to ensure accountability of all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct multiple sub-functions while acting as a single point of accountability for charter inception through product commercialization. Elevate BU maturity level specifically in the multiple areas of project management (e.g., governance, resource management and project management knowledge) for all innovation programs and other complex, cross-functional programs as assigned.
Establish organizational strategy and direction for the program management office and core team project leaders in alignment with strategic plans established by executive leadership team. Coach, develop and mentor teams to accelerate performance and to enable individual growth opportunities while building robust succession plans aligned to functional strategies across the global organization.
Drive continuous improvement of strategic programs/projects management capabilities through best practices, governance processes, identification and implementation of tools, and direct leadership.
Serve as trusted partner and influence BU leadership team and key stakeholders in developing strategic pipeline recommendations to facilitate decision making and produce long-term value for the BU and/or company.
Partner with the ELT and BU leadership team on strategic communications and management processes
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in in related field skill levels exceeding the requirements of Director
Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field Preferred
Experience across Product Development Lifecycle and Core Team management Required
Experience working in a regulated industry Preferred
Required Skills:
Demonstrated track record in people management required
Proven successful project management leadership skills including the ability to optimize resources to deliver project results
Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate key project updates to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making with significant impact
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating, relationship management, and leading through influence to drive achievement of objectives
Expert understanding of product development processes and procedures
Expert understanding and interpretation of complicated market dynamics with the ability to identify and quantify market potential, and build business case with both business and financial analysis skills
Expert understanding of related aspects of processes and/or systems
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly their demonstrate value to the business
Ability to listen to stakeholders, discover unmet needs, develop strong rapport with audience, and be customer-focused.
Strict attention to detail
Ability to provide leadership and direction to large cross-functional teams to successfully implement global enterprise systems and related solutions
Ability to interact internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters and influence decision-making.
Ability to develop relationships and leverage them to influence change
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California , the base pay range for this position is $203,000 to $287,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
